Preston and Weston - Preston was so excited that the snow was over his knees
Bryson and Preston "help" Dad with the shoveling of the walk - really what they do is either A. go behind him and get what the blower left or B. walk to the middle of fresh snow on the driveway and pick it up... like your digging a hole in the dirt. Either way they love it.
Weston - he was keeping up and watching his brothers every move as to how and what I am supposed to do in this huge snow suit.
My Preston - he could stay outside all day before he would complain about it
That dark speck is Preston, he laid down and that is all I could see of him
Of course in his studies Weston saw his brothers shoveling - so off he went to get his shovel and help too. However his idea of helping is shoveling (knocking) the snow that is on the side of the walks/driveway back onto the clear ground.
This is Bryson's snowman - it was about 15" tall :)
And of course - the best part ever about the roads being covered with snow... the 4-Wheeler!!! The boys love this and have a blast riding behind in it. I think my kids (and the Parker's down the street) are the only kids who get upset when the plows come through our neighborhoods... I mean upset! But for now, they are contently enjoying the ride
Our neighbors daughter jumped in as well for a quick ride
There was so much snow in the sled when they returned - the plows had not even slightly come out yet.
Even Tuff joined Darren for a ride around - but he is a pansy and jumped off in about 10 feetThe storm went all day long - By the time we got back home from Church at 4:30 the drive had another 6" on it... so back to plowing we went and taking care of our neighbors who didn't have a plow and hadn't been out yet. Bring on Winter - I am excited!
