Fall Pics 2011

Fall leaves are some of my favorite to take picture of my boys in, we always seem to be a week behind the prime and this time as no different. But, we still found some great color on our way home from Logan and got some great snaps of the boys.

My handsome guys. Bryson 9, Preston 7, Weston 3

We tried some ominous tree leaning photo's however they didn't turn out quite as I had hoped they would have. Still I like the different look of it.

I love these guys so much, I am so lucky to be there mother and get to experience their different character and laughter. Happy Fall!

Logan in the Fall

We seem to love Logan, for reason I am not certain about. After Kyle married Kami and moved to Logan there was the fun of visiting them. But our last minute decisions and there schedule never seemed to align. Much like this trip!
We went up for two days and had a great time as a family. We found this corn maze and fall activity place on the out skirts of Logan and spent a few hours there. The boys had a ball running through the corn maze and jumping around these hay bails.
We went to the farmers market, played at the park, of course bought some gossiner cheese and enjoyed the crisp fall air.

Super man off the hay, he was a bit apprehensive

Here's Bry jumping off the hay onto a mattress... which I a certain we clean :( what it doesn't show you is that it's about a 5 foot drop and jump out of 3 feet.

My favorite guys going through the corn maze

OK... so we never found the end, we tried and tried and went in circles for a hour, maybe longer. So we gave up and cut through until we found an out... it was really a helpless and frustrating feeling. The boys didn't seem to mind except they wanted to get back to the hay stacks.

Weston doing some mid air flying provided by Daddy~!

Stack of bail was 20 feet tall at least

Weston even got into jumping onto the mattress

Darren forgot how old he was and did a front flip...

Bryson tried a front flip and almost landed us in the ER

Preston's front flip was a bit more successful

Darren's second attempt was a much better one and got full rotation. Guess he isn't too old for front flips... I think I am!

Preston found this great little cover which I would not have gotten in, but he wanted to make sure I got his pic in there.

Sand Dunes Day Trip

We took the boys out to the Little Sarah Sand Dunes on conference Saturday, it was a perfect weather day and we hadn't been out there in years. The boys were super excited to go - we drove during the first session and then road around between sessions and let the boys play during the second. It was a fast get away, but none the less a fun adventure.
I've been going to the Sand Dunes since I was 4 months old and I cannot believe how much it has changed. An entire bathroom has been covered in sand - I'm talking a flushing toilet solid brick facility just gone. It seems to have gone from the family fun it used to be to a teenager/early 20 weekend party spot. So, we set up our boundaries and still had such a fun day.
Weston used a flag to help the boys take turns on the small machine.

Bryson was very helpful monitoring Preston and helping him get the feel for the machine.

And Naturally it would not be an adventure if we weren't fixing something!

Weston was so funny, the goggles kept falling off him but he still just held on tight to whichever brother was taking him for a ride.
