Fishing in the Fall

We took the boys up fishing thinking that they would get those early fall bites and fall in love with fishing. We headed all the way to Strawberry and got settled in. Except the wind was blowing hard and it was a cold fall wind so keeping the boys out was hard and keeping our hooks in the water and not in the shore was harder. All the same the boys still loved being outside and playing around

This side of the truck was warm without the wind hitting them so they spent there time there.

After about an hour or so we gave up and loaded back in the truck. Went down to Heber and got a bite to eat at the Train Station of course as there isn't anywhere else you eat in Heber. On our way down to Provo canyon we decided to stop at Deer Creek and give that a try. The weather was much nicer by now and the wind wasn't blowing down there. So it made for a nice few hours.

This would have been Bryson's first trip with his own pole and he was loving it

Darren wasn't loving the hook that just lodged into his finger

My fisher boys, we are trying hard to get our boys to love the outdoors and everything you can do it them. I love being outside in the mountains with them.

Ha-Ha... I love this pic, perfect timing.

Taking a few fun shots of the boys in their beanies and sunshine

This is Bryson being mad about losing his hook.

By the end of the day our fish count was Zero! But our fun count was high, a perfect way to spend a fall day with the boys.
