Bryson's Red Butte Garden's Field Trip

Bryson's 3rd grade field trip took them up to Red Butte Garden... the day after Preston's :) Yep back to back field trip and bus rides... but on the bright side it was two days spent with my boys enjoying their field trip. Bryson's class is split 3rd/4th so his teacher talked the principal into letting the 3rd grade have their separate field trip with the rest of the 3rd graders. Mrs. Bowen has been such a good teacher, so always goes to bat for the kids.
The day was perfect for this field trip as it rained the day before, we went on a mile hike and the kids learned about wildlife, plants, water conservation, trees and river safety. It was a very educational field trip. After we drove down to Liberty park and ate lunch and then got to play for almost 2 hours, Mrs. Bowen just soaked up every minute we had been given, no rush to return to school - just as it should be.
