Preston's kindergarten had what they call "Kaleidoscope Day" - it's a day where the kids don't go to class and have to come with a parent or other adult. There are stations set up all around the gym that they can go to freely and create art, counting, building and such - it's a way for us to see how much they have grown in kindergarten. I always enjoy this day. Preston had so much fun and took the time he needed at each table. I think we finished them all.
Adding Dice together to black out the number cards on the tablePatterns - Preston did an A,B pattern
How many blocks can build a ?
Find the alphabet in the sand

Make a good nutritious meal
Best buddies - Twins from our neighborhood, Briggs and Stockton
and the BEST part about the whole day? They get introduced to hot lunch at school to get ready for 1st grade. I'm not ready for him to be in 1st grade - but he is going either way. Preston was most excited for this part, we ate with his buddies and it's always fun to eat lunch with him.
