Breaking news... a Rock has Landed on the Temple!

When you have boys, things get moved, broken and changed as much as they can. it keeps me on my toes and I find that I am constantly putting things back where they should be. I am walking through my home and out of the corner of my eye I spot something out of place in my front room... wondering what in the world it is I walk over only to find that a new perfect landing place has been discover... on the Temple!
Thank you to whichever of my boys, I can only guess Preston as his imagination far exceeds the other boys, redecorated the front room and discover that the Temple is a perfect spot to take off from.

A perfect fit, sits at the perfect angle to take off.

Preston and Daddy Day!

Preston has wanted to go with Darren ice fishing the last few times he went, so Darren took the day off work and took him fishing. He said he had so much fun, they weren't able to catch any fish, but still had such a fun time together. Preston is the only one who wants to go right now, Bryson is so into technology that he'd rather be home. So he is keeping him as interested as he can. I love that Darren wants to teach his boys to love the outdoors.

All ready to start fishing, what a beautiful day it was too...

Ready to drop it into the hole!

Good Form!

Get Married Again...

So I still have posts to update but I had the funniest experience with Preston on the way to work today in the car. He was talking about what he did at school and then suddenly stopped and said he had to tell me something. He then proceeded to tell me that when he was in my tummy as a baby that he would move out of the way of the hot stuff. I got clarification on that and he meant hot food. So then out of curiosity I asked him if we should have another baby or not, to which he said YES! But then told me that Dad and I would need to get married again and then there would be a baby in my tummy. Hmm I thought, how can I clarify this? so I told him that Mommies and Daddies only get married once and that we will not be getting married again. I told him that when a Mom and Dad are married, Heavenly Father sends down babies when he is ready to and they grow in the Mommies tummy. To which he replied "Ok, I'll tell him that", Huh, I thought, what is he talking about? Preston then looks out his car window and yells "Heavenly Father, put that baby in my Moms tummy!" OK, at this point I am busting up and cannot see the road. Preston is wondering why I am laughing at his honest simple request. Now I start wondering... if I end up Pregnant next week I guess I'll know why :)

Where's Westie - Round 2

My work schedule makes napping hard for Weston, either he doesn't get one or he gets a late one. This was one of those days of no nap, Darren and I were downstairs going over things on the computer and then opted to go get some dinner that night instead of making it. Big boys playing the Wii... check, where is Weston. Darren looks through the rooms upstairs I look downstairs, no Weston. Just as that panic of "he got outside somehow" starts to set in, Darren says quietly "come here" into the boys room we go and in the corner between the ladder and the stuffed animal basket there is Weston, sound asleep.... so cute! Oh did I mention that it was 6:30 by this point and he had probably been asleep for a half hour... needless to say he did not go to sleep on time this night. But I love taking pictures of random sleeping spots, when they have simply run all out of steam.

Where's Westie?

You know when you sit down and start to think... Boy it's really quiet here, I haven't seen Weston is a while - that he is probably up to no good... Well, this is where Darren found him. I was coloring my neighbors hair when he came up the stairs and said, it would be worth it for me to go look at my son... Seriously, This boy is so much fun!

Sitting in the middle of the train table circular ramp... playing with the trains.

Too busy for pictures

What? to him he was simply playing trains...

Karianne RAWLINGS!

My sister was sealed today for Time and all Eternity to Richard Jason Rawlings, she has waited along time to be in the Temple with someone that she is in love with and the day went as perfect as it could. I meet over at her home to do her hair and get her ready for this big day. It was so much fun to get her all "sassified", watch her paint her nails and put on make-up. My mother and I got her in the dress... which was so much fun for me. We then went over the Oquirrih Mtn Temple which is about 5 minutes from her home for pictures, here are a few that I captured...

New Years!

Our New Years Eve was pretty simple this year. The boys wanted to go out to dinner so we ran over to Red Robin, they are doing much better in restaurants - except Westie - and we are starting to enjoy that time with them. We then met with over at our friends home where we played games and talked, Darren and I went home around 11 though and crashed. Sometimes its nice having children who aren't focused on midnight. We did the whole Happy New Year of poppy the confetti fireworks and saying happy New year - quietly as Weston was sleeping. It was a nice relaxing night.

Poppy Confetti

Bryson tried so hard to get them to pop, they are pretty hard to pull.

Our first pics of 2010, the morning after... Bryson and Weston are such buddies, Bry is a wonderful big brother to him and very loving. Westie just gravitates to him.

My Boys, all so different and so alike all at the same time. I love these boys, they complete our life as a couple and make our home wonderfully chaotic

We hadn't seen the lights yet at Temple Square so on New Years Day we opted to go down, ride the train, and see the lights. I had researched it online and found that they would be on until the 2nd of January, which made since as that is the last of the holiday week. So down we headed, go to the train station, opps, no trax running today. Boys very disappointed that we were just going to drive downtown. Go a perfect parking spot, and arrived at 5:30, no lights on yet. Hmm so we walked around and found some sister missionaries who informed us the lights were off for the season. Which was weird as there were some still sporadically on. We did still walk around and have a good time. But we learned our lesson, next year we will simply bundle up no matter how cold it is and make it to the lights.

One of the few trees on, all my boys, they are so handsome

Brothers, need I say more?

Looking at the nativity scene, which was on, but the boys didn't want to sit and listen.

Weston was so funny, he kept stopping and sitting to wait for me to take a picture. He was so cute and did a great job walking around with us.

A Not so happy picture, but this point they had started to get cold and Weston did not want to be held.

A perfect picture in front of the Temple

Preston, my little sweety that I will never understand. I just roll with his personality anymore
